Olympic Air to end Vienna flights

Greek carrier Olympic Air has announced, that it will terminate it's scheduled services between the Greek capital Athens and Vienna from March 27, 2011.

The measure is part of a reshuffle in Olympic Air's network. In addition to Vienna, flights from Athens to Brussels, Paris CDG and London-Hearthrow and from Thessaloniki to London-Gatwick will be dropped, while several domestic routes will be added.

Olympic's pull-out of Vienna ends a long history of scheduled services of Greek carriers between Athens and Vienna.
