Eva Air has re-introduced cargo flights to Vienna on 18-Mar-2010 after more than two years of absence.
Unlike from 2003 until 2007, when Boeing MD-11F were used, the two weekly flights are operated by Boeing 747-400 freighter planes. Flight 671/672 operates on Thursdays and Sundays from Taipei (TPE) via Delhi (DEL) to Vienna and via Brussels (BRU) and Delhi back to Taipei.
Here are the schedule details of the flights:
BR 671/2 TPE-DEL- 11:10 VIE 13:10 - BRU-DEL-TPE Days 4,7
Eva Air's new service underlines the increasing role of Vienna as a transit hub for air cargo to Eastern Europe.
