Baboo to terminate service from Geneva to VIE on June 28

Baboo Embraer 190

Baboo, which had started scheduled services between Geneva and Vienna in June 2008, using a mix of Bombardier Q400 and Embraer 190, will stop serving the route on June 28, 2009.

Obviously this is related with the effects of the world economic crises, as Baboo has applied for short-time work for 220 employees for the next six months at the beginning of June.

Baboo had been operating 12 weekly flights between Geneva and Vienna. It was founded in 2003 and has a fleet of three Embraer 190 and two Bombardier Q400.
